Products:

• All bases are cast in Polyurethane Resin, we will have some products soon that are cast in Ultracal 30 plaster.
• There will be cleaning of the bases required to get rid of excess flash, and you might find it neccessary to wash them in warm soapy water before you paint any of them.

Currency and Taxes:

• 24 FEB 2008 -Please Note that due to a glitch in our payment system, only NZ and US currencies are currently available, and USD is the only currency available for Paypal. we aim to have this fixed asap, and will let you know as soon as we do. we apologise for the incomvenience.
• The stores default currency is US dollars, due to where most of our business comes from.
• We do however accept payments in Euros, British Pounds, Australia Dollars and New Zealand Dollars as well.
• All the Non US currencies are worked out on a mutliplication of the US Dollar, and may not be exactly what the normal exchange rate is between those two currencies. They are set up so that we get roughly the same amount in NZ dollars after exchange.
• You may find it is cheaper to pay in another currency than your own one. Thats fine by us as long as it is one of the 5 we accept.
• The last chance you have to change your currency is on the Order Confirmation page, just before you hit the button called Confirm Order
• NZers who want to pay by Bank Deposit must choose NZ Dollars as the currency
• Being based in New Zealand, there are no transaction charges for anyone from outside of NZ.
• New Zealand orders will have GST added at the final stage at the usual 12.5%

Payment Methods:

• Currently the only way to pay outside of the US is via Paypal, which is very easy to set up.
• We are looking at adding the ability to send money orders, we will let you know.
• We are not seriously looking at credit cards, due to paypal being so very useful, and the Credit card charges are very high. let us know if you would prefer credit card and we will look more seriously at it if there is enough demand.
• Currently the only country that can pay by bank deposit is NZ. Other countries can still see the option when you are checking out, but it will not let you complete the transaction until you pick something else.
• We are working on the ability for Bank deposit for other countries and will let you know when we succeed.
• Please note that orders are not processed until payment has cleared. this may impact you if you pay by online cheque on paypal or a slow bank deposit.

Order Processing:

• All orders are processed (made) over the weekend for posting on a Monday (NZ Time, GMT + 13).
• For the shortest wait for your order, get it to us by Friday night wherever you live.
• If you desperately need the bases sooner for something like a tournament you have left off until the last moment (like all of us), make sure you let us know in the comments field of your order, and we will contact you to see what we can do.

Postage Charges:

• We use the NZPost online calculator for working out the postage cost based on the weight of your order and the destination.
• We have used as many weight increments as possible to keep the postage as little as possible for you.
• It is usually very accurate, however occasionally either due to change is rates or the fluctuations of exchange rates you may pay more than you should.
• If the actual postage cost is more than 10% less than what you paid, we will email you a coupon for the overcharge that you can use on future orders.
• If the actual cost is more than what you paid, lucky you :)
• We reserve the right to change the postage rates on our site at any time (obviously it will usually only be becuase they are wrong)
• ZONES:
• Postage is broken into 5 Zones, check the flags to see if your country is here, if its not, drop us an email and we will work it out for you, its probably going to be close to Zone 5.
• Postage amounts are in US dollars.
• Please note that postage rates for NZ (only) hacve changed as of the 1st of April 2008 to take into accountNZ posts new parcel shipping rates.

Posting:

• Destinations outside of New Zealand, International Air Mail via NZPost will be used, which takes 3-10 working days, though usually less.
• Destinations within NZ, postage will be via Packet or Parcel post from NZPost which takes 2 days max usually .

Packaging:

• All orders are sent in well padded boxes to protect them on the trip.
• To minimise the chance of you getting hit with customs fees, we do not put our logo on the box, and we will post from our personal name
• All parcels will be labelled as a gift

Insurance:

• All International parcels are insured automatically up to $200 US or equivalent.
• International orders valued over $200US will be charged an additional $10 US to cover additional insurance.
• If your parcel does not arrive in the allotted time, please let us know and we will work with you to find your parcel.
  • very often the parcel is just delayed
  • sometimes the parcel is sitting at your or our customs offices, posibly being used as a seat or something. they are supposed to tell you straight away but rarely do (French customs are the worst at this).
  • If after an appropriate time we cannot locate your parcel we will send out a replacement.
• In over 7 years of sending and recieving international mail, we have only had two parcels disapear never to be found again. we have had a few used as a football by posties across the world, which is why we use a lot of padding.

Customs and Excise:

• We do what we can to reduce the chance of you getting hit with Customs charges in your own country but you are responsible for payment of any charges you have to pay.
• in order to reduce our own chances of fees, we may send out your order in two parcels, this is at our own cost (but probably cheaper than customs).

Returns:

• We do our best to ensure that our products are top notch.
• Resin kits do require a bit of cleaning of flash around the edges and often have bubbles.
• any bubbles on the bottom should not be in a place where the edge of the base is compromised.
• any on top of the model should be minor and not distort the model beyond use.
• if the product is below what you believe is acceptable please contact us , and if we cannot work something out to your satsifaction we will refund your money straightaway.

Submissions and Commissions:

• We do our best to come up with as many cool ideas as possible but very often other people have better ideas than us.
• if you have an idea for a range of bases, or even better have some bases you want cast, email us and we will discuss it with you.
• If we make the bases, you will get a free set of the bases we make.
• One condition is that you agree that the design and originals belong to us (we need the originals for when the mold needs replacing)
